What is RSS and Podcasting?

The Heart of the Cross web site uses software that allows us to syndicate content through a technology called RSS. These are just extra features of our web site that make it easier to access and get automatic updates for users that want them. Using an RSS-enabled browser or RSS "aggregator" program, you and other visitors to our site can automatically learn of news items via the "RSS Feed" icon link. For users of Apple iTunes or iPodder or other Podcasting programs can use the "MP3 Podcast" link to automatically download audio versions of our weekly messages in MP3 format.

To subscribe to our RSS feed right click on an icon and select "Copy Shortcut" or "Copy Link Location" then paste the link into your news aggregator. (See your aggregators help for instructions on how to do this.)
